In 2007 we had over 63,000 teal and pink Outdoor Christmas Lights, including almost 200 "blow mold" characters, two dozen "blow ups", some of them 15 feet high, and a train large enough for a child to ride.
The whole thing took about six (6) weeks to set up, was first lit on Saturday December 8th 2006 at 6:00 PM, and will be on every night until Friday January 4th at Midnight. Every night a different young child comes to push the button on our wireless remote to turn on the lights. I don't have exact calculations for this year yet, but last year we were pulling 198.3 Amps on leg A of our 200 amp electrical service, and 198.5 on leg B.
The roof alone has over 10,000 lights that run off of two computers on a dedicated 60 Amp sub panel. Every night I change/replace between 100 and 150 light bulbs to keep everything "burning bright"

2008 -Setup1
Here is the first 2 minutes we shot of the setup for 2008. It was a nice day and like usual, Neil had friends and family over to lend a hand. It takes many hours of preparation to make things right. Be sure to come out of December 6th to see it at night at 6:00pm sharp.
2008 -Setup2
This is some raw footage of the guys setting for the Big 2008-2009 Light Show. As you can see from this video, we get allot of help from friends and family. It takes quite a bit of time to set everything up just right.
2007 Lights
Check out the light video we shot in 2007. This was shot with a Canon XL1 with a 3XL lens using a 10ft jib/crane. The crane really makes the shots looks so much better. We do have a stedicam however the crane shots are more suitable with this type of content.

Hi Neil, it's me Tom from PECO Energy. We got the grant from Exelon Corp.
and now have the funds to install the additional flex-capacitor and the
8,000 ton Reactor. The new reactor's heat is produced by fusion or
radioactive decay, this description focuses on the basic principles of the
fission reactor so you can run an extra 1,000,000 watts this year. Good
luck and keep up the great work.
